But Hunter Crosby did just that today for the Giants and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 22-year-old second baseman said after his record-setting performance. Hunter Crosby singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. This season Crosby is hitting .362 with 59 hits, 3 home runs, 24 RBIs, scored 28 runs and played in 39 games. |
