Lee Week's Best in CL Monday, July 27th, 1981 Reid Lee demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Colonial League Player of the Week Award. The Portsmouth center fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .419 average (13-31) with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season, Lee has recorded a .272 batting average with 100 hits, 23 home runs, 77 RBIs, 65 runs scored and a .337 OBP. |
